3D printing for prototyping and models
Product development at warp speed
3D printing is, without a doubt, the fastest, most efficient and cost effective way to produce one-offs and prototypes. You can test your design’s functionality and form down to the most intricate of details.
This powder bed fusion process utilising thermoplastic polymers is suitable for prototyping and printing functional parts. SLS offers high levels of design freedom and high levels of accuracy, producing parts with good, consistent isotropic mechanical properties and excellent layer bonding. Printing is fully self-supporting, enabling complex geometries.
FFF or composite 3D printing utilises an extrusion process and highly durable, production-grade thermoplastic resins. FFF delivers parts with mechanical stability, high heat resistance, and in some instances, excellent flammability scores. FFF is suitable for one off functional prototypes, hard-wearing tooling, and low volume functional parts. Parts are ready for use straight off the printer.
